Your 18-inch friend will be ready to run and play in these cute shorts-length overalls featuring a slightly gathered, dropped waist and lightly flared legs.

Designed to fit over a snug-fitting top, such as the Base Layer Bodysuit, this outfit is partially lined with buttoned straps that meet in a "V" at the back. Choose soft, draping fabrics for a dressier, skirted look or use more traditional woven fabrics, such as a light denim or seersucker, for more traditional appeal.

This PDF pattern was created as part of the Summer Camp Collection by Matilda’s Closet, which includes the Mock Button-Front Shirt, Roll-Up Capris and Bucket Hat. Add the coordinating Convertible Bunk Bed pattern by AptOne8 and your little friend will be all set for summer camp!

    Excellent pattern with good step-by-step descriptions; I had no problem at all. Very cute result. Interestingly, this outfit fits my older doll (a Molly with a Kirsten wig) very well, because it provides needed ease around the butt and doesn't have to fit her shoulders. So, this is a good choice if you have an older doll.

    I love this pattern. One outfit is made from up-cycled denim, the other is "fussy cut" from a print with beach scenes.
