When the snowflakes start to fall and the temperatures drop, your doll will be very happy to have a cozy pullover to ward off the cold!
Featuring a zip-up front as the only closure, this pattern requires a fairly stretchy fabric to ensure you are able to get the top over your doll's head and arms. Well-suited to polar fleece, other stretchy knits with a bit of structure are also an option.
Customize this top to create the look you want by varying the overall length, adding elastic at the waist or mixing and matching fabrics for the main body and linings.
• 1/3 yard knit fabric, such as polar fleece, t-shirt knit, ribbing (NOT suitable for fabrics that don’t stretch, such as woven)
• Scrap contrasting knit fabric for collar and cuff ribbing (optional)
• 4-inch nylon zipper (or longer – will be cut during construction)
• Thread
• Narrow elastic (1/8-1/4 inch) or elastic cording
(optional for waistband)
